Aleppo and London are not treated as opposites here. To me, they offer two ways of noticing: warmth and reserve, inheritance and reinvention, belonging and distance.

How the articles are made
Each article begins with my thoughts, experiences or questions in a conversation with ChatGPT. AI then helps summarise and shape that exchange into an essay. The result is AI-generated and reflective: it is intended to explore a point of view, not to present itself as reporting, academic research or professional advice.
Facts may provide context, but these pieces are primarily records of thinking aloud. Readers should verify important claims independently and treat the writing as an invitation to reflect rather than a definitive account.
